About Me

Hello, I'm Tom. I'm in my mid twenties, and live in Hackney, London. My blog is at scraplab.net.

I develop and design internet-based things. Often these take the form of products and services that mix the physical and digital worlds. I'm freelance, and part of the Really Interesting Group, often collaborating on projects with the other partners. Currently, I'm working on Newspaper Club, a service to help people make their own newspapers.

Previously, I worked at Headshift as a Ruby on Rails Developer and Technical Consultant, designing and building social software products and platforms.

Before that I was a Broadcast Engineer at BBC Technology, completed an MEng in Systems Engineering, and worked with Engineers Without Borders on international development projects in rural Malaysia and the UK.

If you're interested in working with me or the Really Interesting Group, do get in touch.
